When did efurnitureMax rebrand?
efurnitureMax rebranded to American Commercial Furniture in January 2024.
Was the company sold? What changed?
Just the company name! Well, we also received a much overdue website facelift. The people behind our company have not changed, including our ownership. We're still the same customer friendly team you've come to know and expect.
Why did the company rebrand?
In short: To highlight our focus on commercial products, and incorporate something our customers want: more product options with an American manufacturing component.
The longer answer: A lot has changed since our founding! efurnitureMax was established in 2013 as an online furniture retailer. The "e" signified "eCommerce", which was a 2000s thing (eBay, eTailer, etc). In its early days, efurnitureMax also offered a combination of residential and commercial furniture. Over the years, efurnitureMax changed its focus to a commercial product offering, and started to conduct a significant portion of its business offline through its growing account executive team. Nowadays, we don't even describe ourselves as an eCommerce company, as that puts us in the same field as Amazon, Wayfair, and others. We're a commercial furniture company, with great people, who utilizes a website to give customers multiple ways of purchasing from us. However, we've also set ourselves apart from other companies on the web through our personable, hands on approach.
We've also learned a lot from our clients, and what they need. Quality, durability, longevity, and products that create American jobs are important to our client base. With our rebrand, we've committed to offering more options with an American labor component, while highlighting the benefits of shopping with a US based team.
Do I need to change the vendor information in my system?
Nope! In reality, our legal company name, efurnitureMax, LLC, has not changed. Our company utilizes the same business identification numbers with the IRS and simply adopted a "Doing Business As" (DBA) name. If you'd prefer, we can provide a new W9 with our DBA, but whether payments are made out to efurnitureMax, LLC, or our new name, we can accept both.
How do I contact my favorite people if their email changed?
All emails sent to efurnituremax.com email addresses are automatically forwarded to the same person you are used to contacting. Nothing will be lost!
Do I still have warranty coverage on my previous efurnitureMax order?
As long as the warranty period has not expired, absolutely. Our name change does not affect any commitments we have made to our customers, including warranties.
