This model features a black phenolic resin top and book cubbies. Phenolic resin table tops are composite panels manufactured by layering natural kraft papers that have been saturated with phenolic resin and processed under high heat to form a solid surface composite panel.These table tops are lightweight, hard, durable and highly chemical resistant. They are oil and moisture resistant and are resistant to most bacteria and fungus. Phenolic resin is an excellent choice for laboratory environments with continuous heat exposure up to 350°F (176°C). Phenolic resin is typically suitable for high school and above. The legs and aprons are constructed of solid wood and are finished with a chemical resistant, earth-friendly UV finish. Each table features heavy duty 13-gauge steel corner braces and solid wood square legs with 5/16"" hanger bolts installed that attach to the apron with nuts and washers included.

All tables are equipped with non-skid adjustable glides for precise leveling. Black rubber leg boots protect against scuffing and chemical spills. Each table boasts an impressive weight capacity of 500 lbs.
